1. Contact Your local MP

Your personal story matters. Messages written in your own words, from your own perspective, can be powerful. Tell your MP what concerns you, why it matters to you and what you want them to consider.

Ask questions. Share your concerns. Make your voice heard.

Once you have their contact details, you can:

  • Email: Write to them from your personal email and tell them why this matters to you.

  • Phone: Call their office, leave a message, ask where they stand and explain your concerns.

  • Meet: Request a meeting with your local MP. Take a friend or whānau member with you and have a face-to-face conversation with your elected representative.
